That’s a great idea making it a prime number! The difficulty is finding a number where the average chain is long enough to be fun, which is why I had it higher than standard blackjack. I think 23 could work though. I’ll give it a go.
Good point, I think I’ll look to make the reroll go up in price each use, each shop. And I might also look to disable a purchase slot once they’ve been bought once in each shop so if you’ve thinned once you can’t thin again that shop. I think that should make it more challenging and hopefully make betting a bit more of a gamble.
The extra card that’s not played each round is there to stop a degenerate strategy where you can know with certainty the last set of cards that will come out and therefore make a certain bet.
