I'm a sucker for element-mixing games, so this was a very welcome surprise. I liked the core mechanics of the game a lot, even if it took me a bit to get used to them (I couldn't seem to find the tutorial). The highlight of the game was absolutely the writing for me - all the little quips on the battle screen and the comments for each element were a ton of fun to find. I honestly wasn't too keen on element-mixing since a lot of the combination elements didn't seem super useful compared to the free 3 Armor of Earth and the healing of Water, though I found a few that I liked, like Magma, Static, Frost, and Clay. The hunt concept was cool but did feel as though it wasn't as stressful as it could have been, since enemies weren't exactly blocking much of the path and I could easily maneuver around the map. That said, though, perhaps I was just missing something strategically, because I couldn't make it further than around the three or four star enemies. Health management was a particular problem, because I just couldn't kill enemies quick enough to avoid taking significant damage from each fight, and healing seems really sparse without any elements to mix for proper healing (that I found). That said, because the map was so open and unblocked (in my first run I found a path straight from the start to the final boss with no enemies in the way), I suppose I could have easily gone and found an inn between each fight (especially since the hunt was so slow), so maybe that's on me. I think that this game could maybe use a bit of balancing (or perhaps I'm just really bad at it lol), but I adore the concept and I think it has an absolute ton of potential.

Thanks for the feedback!
The tutorial is the second option on the main menu (below).
And yeah you're going to need to mix the ingredients beyond the first four to get past the first area. Being able to move far into the map without being blocked was intentional, to allow you to grind and plan out your build and fighting the stronger monsters on your own terms.
