the game look fun but I can't even beat the first level, no matter what I do I'm always too slow to go up the small ramp to get fuel
Sorry it's too difficult! It takes a medium tap at the beginning, one or two small taps in the middle, and a medium tap at the end. It can be done, it just takes a lot of nuance. Good luck!
