(I have never played the game in this image or know what it's about.)

Now onto the review:

The premise is fun, but I feel like the timers on your actions feel like they take away more from the game than they give in return.  At the very least you shouldn't have to wait 4 seconds in order to access a minigame.
Also I adore the sprites and the sounds of the cat.

I agree with you; I had set up timers to trigger the minigames before creating the tutorial—intending for them to help players grasp the mechanics—but once the tutorial scene was in place, they became redundant! I’ve never played Metaphor: ReFantazio either, and you don't need to have played it before playing The Cat is a Metaphor, the games are unrelated to each other, despite the similarities  😹😹😹Thanks for playing 😸😸😸
