Oh yeah. I love me a good ol' launcher-type game in any of these jams, and I must say, this is one of my favorite launcher games. The movement is silky smooth and satisfying to a tee. The upgrades all modify the game in interesting ways; I particularly love the toothpaste(?) upgrade that lets you chain bites. Allow me to make a few comments:

* The saw, I find, doesn't really do too much good. It's a little too fast of a turn in my opinion, and in the first place, the player is almost always going down. The bite and bat are more effective ways to avoid danger, so what's the point of the saw? Some re-tooling there might help.

* The countdown of the minerals should be done one-by-one, in my opinion. Just to really juice up the dopamine hit of getting rarer minerals.

* I think you're already well aware of this, but the game does get a bit hard by the end. Couldn't get to the ending, actually I didn't know there even was one.

I'd love to point some things out as well, because this game is packed full of little details that I love:

* The wingman is doing the Four pose, like from that one meme, which I think looks hilarious.

* Love the detail of the shopkeeper saying they're trapped in an itch.io screenshot!

* The Flipnote style cutscenes are endearing!

On the spectra of launcher-type games, from Toss the Turtle to Burrito Bison, Drill Dracula definitely shows its design inspirations. Even still, it manages to be very unique, and the game itself is a wonderful interpretation of the countdown theme. Color me impressed. Or don't color me at all, for I am a vampire.

For this to have 22 ratings is pretty crazy. Should add a 0 at the end. Great job here, team! Congrats on submitting for the jam, and I wish you all the best.

Thank you for the detailed response and kind words :)
I would like to say something about the sawblade. It was at one point made for quicker turns, but we also figured it wasn't useful enough for that. So, we made it so you gain a ton of speed if you hold it down for a bit. We just forgot to update the shopkeeper's description to include that.
