Thank you so much for taking the time to play and leave a review! The story progression is a bit of a puzzle that you're supposed to piece together over multiple tries by completing miniature "quests" with each of the students and optimizing a route to get it all done in time. You're also supposed to think a bit differently in the fact that you're not looking to "win", you're looking for the option that wastes the most time. Also, I'm sorry about the game crash, unfortunately there are definitely a couple bugs that we were unable to iron out.
Thank you for the compliment on the art. My teammate (the artist) did an amazing job with it and I couldn't be happier, and yeah, he insisted on having a parallaxing main menu.
Yeah, the camera does have some issues that I weren't able to iron out in time.
Thanks for telling me about these bugs, here's what I can say on them:
- The spacebar pressing dialogue options automatically is a bit of the problem. I could've maybe added a bit of a delay timer before options could be pressed, but I feel that would also be a bit annoying because it would replace an optional wait (simply going through the dialogue slower) with a forced wait (replying.)
- Yeah the crash is an issue. If you don't mind, could you tell me the conditions of how it happened?
- That is definitely a bug and one that is known. The menus and everything is the game gets handled by preloads. However, for some reason I couldn't preload to main menu again after loading into one of the sub menus. I spent a bit of time trying to fix it until deciding itprobably wasn't big enough of an issue to spend that much time on.
Thank you for your long reply!
