I think what really stunned me about this is... I think this captures the fragmentary experience of trying to convey not just what happened, but the history of how it has made you feel and what you did or did not do and who you are or are not because of it(, or not, it is sometimes impossible to tell).
The self and the other as not two points or a spectrum but clouds colliding. The fear and the anger and the distress as they resolve into separate bodies along separate trajectories.
I will be thinking of this and these.
