I really like this concept and I think with some polish it could be really excellent.
I would recommend having a dedicated page with written explanations of the icons and gameplay loop because while I did eventually figure it all out the learning curve can be off-putting.
Overall though, super creative idea, I love the setting and the style! Great work :)

I wanted to see if my symbols-only tutorial would be enough, so I took a bit of a risk by deliberately not using any written language to explain the icons and the gameplay loop. It's nice to hear that you stuck it out long enough to figure it out, besides the initial learning curve!
