It took me a little while to figure this one out, but once I did it's pretty cool!! I ended up stopping at a point where I got stuck and had to rewind a huge amount, but I like how much of a mystery box the mechanics are. I think it tripped me up not being able to see the curse countdown on all the items and the doors at the start, so I was like oh my god why is everything disappearing and changing without my input.

Having to line up your sword swings with the countdown on the slimes was a little confusing and tedious and by far the thing I spent the most time stuck on trying to figure out the optimal pathing and timing to be able to even hit the slimes at all.

This is such a neat concept though!! great potential for cool puzzles and uncovering mechanics is so fun :>

Thank you!
You shouldn't ever have to rewind too far from my testing, but I might have overlooked something, sorry about that.

That's pretty much the reaction I intended for everything disappearing at the start lol.
I didn't want to overwhelm the screen with all the countdowns to start with, and this was more fun anyway.

I always try to make game mechanics be taught through interactions if possible, which does normally lead to a bit of rule-discovery gameplay and just feels more elegant than a wall of text explaining everything imo. Although sometimes I may lean a bit too far into the "not explaining anything" side :)
