i believe this is a good game, the quality of animations, sprites and music is more than enough to appreciate
but HOLY SHIT I HATE THAT FUCKING HIDE-BEHIND-KNIVES ATTACK

ive been trying to get the second round thing for the no-hit animation and its really fucking annoying when the beams just fucking bullshit their existence in positions where its impossible to avoid
and when you add that factor with how the knives land semi-randomly (they like to spawn in cris-cross)
this attack doesnt feel possible
it just feels like a 50/50 whether you die or not even with the jelly item thing active
i know its 15+ hours because i spent time on this no-hit thing a few days ago and gave up and then i tried the next day and so on forth and here i am
i have lost my mind
i literally crawl back to the comment section numerous times just to read over ByteMeDown's comment for comfort even though the shitty "challenge" is still there and unchanged
now instead of going further on how much i fucking hate this game sucking my lifespan
i think the hide-behind-knives
the beams should be completely facing down when spawned instead of aiming you in annoying angles and all that cesspool
and 40% of issues would disappear, i actually dont even care about the other attacks
maybe add 1 or 2+ more knives to the initial volley for more shields
maybe make the beams fire slightly slower or make it so they only completely form after a few more frames(e.g. 1st frame is barely outwards, 2nd frame is half beam, 3rd frame is full beam across) so its possible to dodge somewhat if the shields cant help
i dont wanna hear anything about "oohohoh skill issue lmao ur fault on porn game"
i just spent 15 hours on this all because of that attack
please NERF it, if a average joe like me spent 15 hours and could not, that is badonkers
is it really a challenge if its just purgatory from RNG dictating whether you lose or not
because atleast with pattern attacks, they can be difficult but LEARNABLE, which means you ARE guaranteed to win given some time to learn the pattern, which alone is a good incentive
but with a RNG-based attack there is no incentive because all you can do is continue mindlessly and pray you live, it doesnt matter if you spend several hours because you cant learn it like a pattern attack
if this isnt "losing my mind" then i dont know what is
