Might've just been my browser, but it seemed to lag substantially when getting power-ups for the first time. Otherwise, the controls felt responsive. Really loved the music!
Yea unfortunately that is something i noticed with the browser version as it has to load the power up particle effect for the first time, i might have to make those preload somehow.
