Unfortunately I am very conflicted about your game.

On the one hand it reaaaly strokes my ego that I can't get to the damn end of the level. And I spent way more time trying to reach it than I'd like to admit.

On the other hand it is very easy to blame the movement controls and level design for my frustrations. You can adapt to the fact that you have almost no air control but you can't really adapt to the frustrating jumps at the end of the level. When you jump you either fly to short or to long. and since you can't course correct in the air it feels like the level design is frustrating rather than it being perfectly spaced to fit your jumps (which is the case for the first halve of the level).

Also a small nitpick: please add a crosshair. I am very bad at aiming as is and with no crosshair I just feel sad whenever I miss for the 4th time

One thing I really like though are the lights along the platforms. They make the border very clear and tell you perfectly how far the next ledge is away from you.

Oh and there is this really funny mechanic ( /bug?) where you can jump really fast/far when you jump right when you land from your last jump.

Keep up the good work. With some more polishing this would have been great

Thank you very much for writing such elaborate feedback and playing my "game! It´s more like a vertical slice though :D

I'm 100% certain that the game is beatable, but requires kind of precise jumps. Especially the last section before you go up in the first level. First 6 jumps are possible with normal jumps but the following 3 need "Slide Jumps", so that you can cover more distance. The trick for the third level is that you have to hold crouch, slide the whole way to the end and time your jump inputs to cover the distance (That´s where the funny mechanic comes in). I tried adding "strafing" while in the air but the result is so tiny that you don't really notice it. You can press s while in the air to slow down and try to not overshoot the platform.

The funny mechanic you mentioned is just me forgetting to put a speed cap on the slide xd you get a speed multiplier when you jump and/or enter the slide. These just stack indefinetly lol But i thought it could make for a funny/cool gameplay feature and just kept it in. Made the whole third level with this in mind.

The crosshair part is valid. I'll definetly add one.

I wanted to make it more polished but really overestimated what i'm capable of in that amount of time. I think i'll make it more flashed out once the voting period ends.
