I think I enjoyed this one way more than I would have initially thought. There were a couple of creative and nice things in there; the fact that you resume at the floor that you left off is great for a game jam because you do not want to re-do the entire dungeon, I liked the fountains you could restore your health from because I was able to clear quite a bunch of floors before returning each time. The inventory management is also somewhat interesting, because you actually need stone for a bunch of stuff so you can't just throw it away, so sometimes you are encouraged to return to the surface to use them up. There was also more variety in the dungeon than I would have expected at first, and there are actually quite a lot of items / tools you can unlock and use. I found it nice that the people you save are used as a "tutorial" and give you hints on further content you can discover. Maybe the one thing I did not enjoy that much were the random stones that you had to break at the end of each floor, often there were just too many and the gambling did not work out. Or maybe I just didn't realize something!
Anyways. I really enjoyed your game!
