Okay, so the map is absolutely massive, such that I found it quite hard to navigate and my movements were mostly random / following the map edges. I managed to find a gem, a key, some stone / spike type things, a darkened keep and perhaps some other items, but when I made my way back to the village, the residents didn't seem to react differently. I wasn't able to really make sense of what to do beyond this or how to progress.
I think the pure size of the game possibly is to your detriment, and without a map and quest log, it's really hard to know what I need to do, collect and who I need to go back to with said items. I think this might be the case of the game feeling smaller and simpler to you both as developers as you know it like the back of your hand compared to someone coming in blind.
I hope you don't feel like I'm being too critical, I just noticed that you've had 8 ratings and basically no feedback; so I am hoping to put a little meat on the bone as to what I think is happening.
The art is great, and naturally everything works together well. The movement controller and camera system are excellent; it's got a lovely feel to it. It's a first world problem to have, but your game is just too big I think!
If you're able to give me any pointers on where I need to go and what I should be looking for, I would be happy to revisit this and try to complete it. Thank you.
