The concept on it's own is really fun and alongside a lovely artstyle it is quite great! The only "note" I'd have is that it's not always clear when the gates will open or close (as far as I can tell) causing me to be cornerned right when the monster is around the corner. The flow of running away from the monster in meditation mode once you know the map a bit better is suprisingly relaxing.
