I love how silly the concept is haha. The movement and story progression were quite good and i love that you had difficulty settings. i also love how the time machine serves as a reset mechanic as well. i did enounter a few problems with pickups but other than that its a really fun game!

What kind of problems did you encounter with pickups? I think the main problem is that the game does not teach you how to swap weapons (apart from listing Q in the controls hint) and that you can't pick up items you already have - this is intentional but probably a bad design decision.
