I loved a lot about the presentation of this one! It felt kind of homey in a stifling way, the dusty images and the collage. Truly no love could be found here despite Locket's best efforts.
I also did like the interplay of Esther's more primal nature with the more social and specifically human codependent expectations put upon her, and how that eventually pulled back into the titular meaning. This project has an airy dreamlike nature, which was pleasantly surprising. It almost feels like a meditation on a relationship that has no choice but it devour itself. Fated surrender.
