Thank you for the feedback!
Yeah, we had troubles deciding what was meaningful to communicate to the player or what was more fun to discover while playing, so I will add more context in this comment:
Each turn the the player is dealt 5 of the 10 cards of the deck (3 Swords, 3 Shields and 4 Watches). Each one has its fixed effect, sword cards (with the red outline) give 5 attack if it is activated in the red zone, 2 armor if it is activated in the blue zone and "add 1 second to the timer" if it is activated in the recycle zone.
Shield cards (with the blue outline) will prioritize armor, so it gives 3 attack if activated in the red zone, 5 armor if activated in the blue zone and draw an extra card from the deck if recycled.
Watch cards (with the black outline) are meant to be recycled and give 2 seconds extra time, but they can be placed in the red zone for 1 attack or in the blue zone for 3 armor.
About the timer being longer it could be a possibility, but we would like more play testing to tell for sure.
Kind of an oversight but you can cheat and press p mid battle to pause and unpause lol
