What a joyful time I had playing this! If I could live as that microwave, in his world, I would.
This whole game holds all that I could want in it. The animation style and rendering is top notch, the movement feels so real, possibly more so than life itself, so much so that I could walk around in that map without pause and not tire.
The characters aren't just clever; they seem to have tapped into some secret part in my mind that holds the self, took it from my hands and let it rip. I was serious when I said I could live in that world.
While I very rarely find myself playing combat games, the fighting mechanics in Kitchen Master shall live in my head as the standard. A simple, well-timed, space-pressing spotlight to live up to, with the smoothest, most pleasant to look at, awe-inspiring animations that could pull me into them.
I'm repeating myself now, though I could truly write paragraph upon paragraph about how much I love this game. I wont so much as touch the fact it was made in such a short time frame.
Worth saving to my computer, to say the least, and I imagine I will continue to play it long after the jam finishes.
