Yeah, it's golf rules. Lower times are better. And it was meant to be challenging and with it only taking 60 seconds, we figured a few play-throughs would be enough to get the hang of things without being too much of a burden.
More "what are you going to be doing here" before the game started would have probably made things a bit easier.
