A pretty good game! The art and music are absolutely fantastic, and the idea behind it is a good one. However, I think this game suffers from being for a game jam, as it feels like the gameplay isn't fleshed out a lot. You could, say, give survivors different stats to show if they'd be good for getting supplies, protecting the group from wild animals, or being the one who provides food for the Donner party. There's a lot you could do with this concept that unfortunately couldn't be explored. This applies to the narrative, too. A game like this has the potential to be a great branching story, and maybe choosing where to go and which survivors to keep. Overall, if you were to flesh out this game and make it a full game, I'm sure it would be great.
