I did all the collage traditionally (knife and glue), primarily using two sources: 'A Pictorial Archive of Decorative Renaissance Woodcuts' for the characters, and Vault Editions' 'Frames, Borders and Cartouches' for the borders.
I made the illuminated floral letters from a scan I had of a 'T', I digitally removed the T then added in the letters I needed using Procreate. The Grail itself is a scan of the 'Holy Grail' card from Talisman 1st Edition. The collages were scanned in and then edited/cleaned up in Procreate.
