Damn this one was so cool, I'm surprised that it hasn't gotten more attention yet ! (vague spoilers from now on)
The art style is lovely, both Daria and Aconia are absolutely gorgeous sdjijifdjdj, there are a lot of 'simple' but very creative CG's. I fucking love the parallel between the CG of their sex scene and that one other scene, such a nice and disturbing touch !!
I'm not the biggest fan of body horror, especially very detailed and realistic depictions. But, while still disturbing, I think Abiogenesis is just graphic enough to be uncomfortable without being genuinely distressing to read (for me at least). Glad we didn't see that poor rat tho TwT.
If I have one small complaint it's that the beginning did feel a bit long, which is unfortunate because as soon as the conflict gets started I was hooked. On the other hand though, I'm aware that having to convey the progression of a relationship like this one with a short VN is a nightmarish task, so it'd make sense to want to spend a big enough fraction of the game seeing their relationship evolve before the 'Toxic yuri' truly starts. Seeing that short period of peace and joy that Daria finally found, be taken away from her so quickly was really tragic.
Such a great entry overall and everything I wanted to see from a game for the TYVNjam !
