What can I say? I like it. For me personally it's a kink think (so I appreciate the drawn-out scenes—I also don't find Daniel hot, but it doesn't matter); for others it might be about dealing with trauma. Either way, if it works for them, great.
As for being weird, yes, of course I am; it'd be kinda boring not to be.
