Okay, the game has very good potential but I have a ton of suggestion for you. First of all, the character is slippery. What I mean by that is when the character moves, it goes a bit too fast and it will continue moving before the character can jump. Another thing I should suggest is to add a beginning menu and a restart button. The beginning menu is just to add a start button, settings, and maybe some credits (if there is anyone who helped you created the game.) The restart button is something I would suggest because when the character dies, it does not respond. And since you seem to be using the keyboard for everything, I would use R for the restart button and maybe E for the shooting button is its a popular letting for shooting. The last thing I would suggest is to add some background music, just to listen to while the game is being played.
