Awesome game! Word of advice though, it's a bit less emotional when the character abruptly just says "he fell off a cliff." Other than that, great job!
Thanks for playing. I have to disagree with your advice though. The emotional core of the story is that he has been dead the whole time and still tries to help save one of his owners. And since the game has made people cry, I would dare to say that it has connected emotionally the right amount. But thanks for commenting on this 5 year old jam game. It made me play it again and now I'm also sad again...
well, I meant that it does have a highly emotional story and its a great game, I was just suggesting that you maybe add into the dialogue, like "oh the dog... he's dead" and the other person is like "oh no! What happened?" and the person replies something like "he fell off the cliff" instead of abrupt "he fell off the cliff". But your story is very emotional and unique. I liked it a lot!
