I had chills. The sole premise of a school like this existing is insane but works amazingly well for a horror story. I was kind of naïvely rooting for our protagonists at the beginning until I got reminded of how psychopathic they actually are, it only clicked for me at Marcus' place during that one scene because of their amazement. I liked that you didn't show all torture methods but stuck to descriptions for the most part, not that I can't handle those but it felt like the right choice here to leave a lot to imagination. Weirdly enough I think the one that made me wince the most was the description of the eye poking thing... Anyway! I saw someone talk about a sequel with James, but I feel like a sequel would be more powerful for Jack... And with that, I'm on my way to write a comment in the spin-off's section!
