this is the 38th vn i've played, i started this with high expectation based on all the 10/10 review, Unfortunately, after finishing the first route (with unum) it just made me feel genuinely awful :'c
My issue isn't the character himself, but the toxic relationship dynamic. I felt completely trapped in a fake family and a forced relationship with no real power to refuse. Even choosing the affectionate options felt fake and unspontaneous. No matter how much "love" he claimed to show, it was suffocating, manipulative, and made me feel used.
I completely respect everyone who gave this a 10/10 and truly loved it, but it just wasn't for me. I'm writing this so future players can figure out if this kind of dynamic is something they'd enjoy before jumping in, so you don't end up feeling uncomfortable the way I did.
