YESSS!!! Outrageously brilliant. The textures and collage look phenomenal, with the intentionally naive/eclectic art direction so fully bearing out the premise in all its disorienting layers and jaw-dropping twists. This thing SMELLS like university library stacks and aging paper. The writing is so charming and elegant, especially in the early dreams and the strange apocryphal register of the transcribed manuscripts. And the pace is so wonderfully restrained, really taking its time so each escalation hits like a train.
