im not quite sure if i digested this work properly, but to me, this painted such a vivid picture in my mind of someone in the midst of processing the damage their groomer has done to them.
sweltering heat tends to make one reminisce on the past. it's strong imagery that very much left me feeling a hollow kind of nostalgia. given the reading, it feels fitting.
