there are conversations that you can have with strangers that you can't have with friends around you. and i think that this is what i felt after understanding the context of summersound and the article by cravens ties into it. it's really grueling knowing that this is how it Is for queer people (i.e. so much is unsaid inbetween lines with those that know us, but so much is said to those that Know us), and to read such a sincere piece of poetry. aah man.
