there are conversations that you can have with strangers that you can't have with friends around you. and i think that this is what i felt after understanding the context of summersound and the article by cravens ties into it. it's really grueling knowing that this is how it Is for queer people (i.e. so much is unsaid inbetween lines with those that know us, but so much is said to those that Know us), and to read such a sincere piece of poetry. aah man.  [waves hands] thank you!!!!

really interesting how different the plaintext ver reads. affects pacing so much more. feels like i'm going to die from the heat of southeast asia

"feels like i'm going to die from the heat of seasia" yeah !!!! yeah. i rarely ever write prose, & when i do i don't play around with it enough, so it was an interesting exercise for me to fragment it the way i did on decker to facilitate kinetic interaction. replaying it now i'm not sure about some pacing/placement decisions, but that's alright for a first try i think ! the plaintext version definitely helps you get into the narrator's very own suffocatinng head more <3 thank you so much for reading ! & simon shieh's master too is well worth a read re: subject matters like grooming that this VN touches on

it do be like that. hindsight is always much clearer

but thank you regardless for the amazing read :)) and for a first try it's crazy good ! and i'll definitely take a look at the readings you recommend when i have the time to do so ^^
