If I may leave a small suggestion: in that scene where the protagonist is pretending to sleep, I think it would be really cool if we only saw a silhouette or shadow of the character approaching. Since we can see their full sprite right away, we immediately know who it is, even though she doesn't. Keeping them as a silhouette in that moment would make the mystery and suspense so much stronger for first-time players.
