Really liked the atmosphere, extremely minimal yet so strongly evocative. Especially the guitar that really strikes the anguish of a dying small town with no perspectives for the future. I never read a toxic yuri story with an older woman as a protagonist and it felt really refreshing!
Maybe spoilers, but I really liked the looping at the end, where finishing it sends you right back at the beginning, it really helps with the feeling of being trap in this life that is not quite Emerald's, even less one she wanted. I loved it, thanks!
