The game is fun and the concept is also interesting, but i feel like the visual clutter is a bit too much when like there are too many things on the screen like the snake blood or whatever and the little things that come out of the snake's body etc, and also the marker on top of the player.

Suggestions:

 The marker could be like a starter thing that displays brightly at the start like for a few seconds, but later it could be a bit smaller or less of a distraction as it blocks the powerups or whatever that we get sometimes. Also it would be nice to know what we are getting, like the abilities and how they can be gained and what they do etc.  But overall i would say if the clutter was a bit less maybe like the things that we kill fade out a little faster or something it would be a lot more fun to play for a long time. And also i noticed the score on the death screen goes below the Wave word so the score and wave counter could be kept a bit more further away.

 The music is fire. Honestly a very fun little game but it feels like it gets hard faster than it should because of the visual clutter atleast that's what i feel.

Don't mind my review i might be a bit harsh of a reviewer but honestly i think my own game is trash so that's that ig :P

Thank you for providing me with such a detailed feedback, ill be sure to avoid such things for future game jams if i ever make  a game similar to this style. I also really enjoyed your game
