Love this game!  It was my personal favorite of the gamejam.  I want to see you keep working on it and maybe one day give it a full on release!  I like the super jump allowing you to jump higher and destroy blocks.  I think one thing I'd tweak is make the gravity a bit slower/more floaty.  Its very smooth and clean where it's at, but I find wall jumping very difficult.  If you do tweak gravity you might want to slow down horizontal speed to keep the balance similar.

This genre of game (falling block 2d platformer) is one of the first games that got me into gamedev.  I made a level similar to this with Little Big Planet and it was alot of fun there just as it is here.  In my level though they would crush you and it was more about handling the physics of the random rocks falling down and then trying to scale them without rolling off the sides.

Here's what I'd personally like to see if you decide to keep working on your game:

- More background elements (if even possible)
- Slightly more forgiving gameplay to allow the rounds to last a bit longer at the beginning (ie lower gravity)
- Menu with maybe some different modes or like character color select or modifiers like guy who jumps higher or has less gravity or always smashes blocks with his head (and can super jump destroy solid blocks) Stuff like that is super tedious to develop but I think it adds some fun.  Alternatively you could do powerups you can grab which would give you something to go for while you're waiting for blocks to fall.   I love this idea too!
- Highscores
- More block types would be cool, like 1x1 bomb blocks (maybe pushable!) or blocks that will get destroyed after being weighted by other blocks.  I noticed after the block turned into background it gets "frozen" (backgrounded) if you super jump and destroy a block the above blocks stays frozen.  I'd like if they continued to fall after you clear what's holding it.  I know this is very hard but it would just make it all the more epic.

I don't think people understand how well developed a game this is for the gbc.  This is my favorite stuff to see and there's a ton to work with here if you decide to keep working on it.
