We need more! this has the potential to be peak. Please. Its like reading a book but better. Each line sounded like a quote it was so poetic and stuff lol. The only concerns I have, is 1: why am i so short compared to all the others. 2: why are all the others so tall and humongous compared to me. If I had to give some suggestions, it would be to keep the pixel sizes of the pixel art all the same. For example, every single pixel on the screen be the exact same size. Additionally, a better dialogue system would really be nice. You should really flesh it out, since its the baseline of your game, and people are always looking at it. You should consider using a proper pixel art font, and not normal font that was turned to pixels, and also adding some sounds when the text comes on screen (look at the dialogue systems of undertale, or Celeste for example). Some animation to the letters to emphasize certain words and stuff would also be really nice. Additionally, I might be nitpicking, but another small and easy touch would be to always start the dialogue from the same position on the text box (always start from the left for example). I personally prefer this, but many people also like the way you already do it (start from the middle and extend to the sides depending on how long the line is) and they are both equally fine, but I prefer the other method so I though I might tell you about it maybe you like it too! Additionally, some ambient sounds and a bit better music, maybe some falling leaf particles, swaying with the wind, and more atmospheric stuff to really make the atmosphere pop and be more fitting would also be really nice. Another thing, if you ever continue this game (please do, I like the concept and also your writing), try to explain the backstory of all the characters a bit more clearly. Give each one a reason to be there on the path and talk to you (kind of like you did with the first guy) - and very importantly, connect each character's story with each other. As you progress the path and meet new characters, wrap their stories with the previous ones. I'd love to see where this game goes, and even though I gave a lot of suggestions and pointers I think once you make the game feel better, then also expand story, it will be amazing. I wish you luck! <3

Oh my gosh what a passionate reply, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I really appreciate the feedback and understand what bothered you. As for the difference in size between the characters, I purposefully made the protagonist tiny because I imagined it as some entity that glides through the world without bothering its ambient. For the dialogue instead, unfortunately laziness and procrastination got to me and I couldn't take care of the dialogue system properly as the clock was ticking very loudly, same thing for the sound effects and basically everything (I had much bigger dreams for this game infact).
Due to the positive feedback, however, I am considering fleshing it out into something bigger and substantial! Thank you so much again :D
