I'm not sure I understood the glitch you're describing at the first level but usually all bugs get automatically fixed when you refresh the page (im not sure why, but its true - i think its bc they only happen sometimes or smth so idk, i guess you got unlucky, sorry lol). Also, Kaerpi flashes when you are in "combo overflow" mode (when you hit 3+ combos). During that time he changes colours and also flashes white so yeah, if you managed to get him to combo overflow then you are definitely doing it right! We should have probably included a tutorial inside the game because there are a lot of hidden techniques and stuff that aren't explained, but we unfortunately run out of time :(.
