This game is incredibly fun with a lot of charm, but I struggled to enjoy it toward the end and would exercise caution for anyone either planning to beat it, 100% it, or for those who don't like the idea of skipping levels.
The entire game is plagued with bizarre rank requirements, which are required to 100% the game. The Par and Time requirements feel strangely random, with some being far too high (e.g. I easily completed multiple Par ~10 levels in 2 shots) or some being far too low (e.g. I struggled to get anywhere near Par 10 on Level 4-5, a level I feel has many design issues).
I would argue that many of the levels in World 4 are the definition of anti-fun. I found that many of the elements that make a golf game of this genre fun and satisfying were absent entirely for the purpose of "we must make the final levels more difficult." Many of these levels are very gimmicky and do not play well, often lacking slopes or good angled shots which are known staple elements of mini golf. At this point I had lost all interest in 100%'ing the game.
World 5 features a completely underwhelming and overly frustrating gimmick that is repeated 15 times. Unfortunately I lost all interest in even completing the game and skipped half of this world.
Overall, the game starts off being incredibly fun, but unfortunately loses its charm and forgets what makes it fun towards the end. It's enough that I felt that the completionist requirements were rather miserable, but making the mandatory main game unfun for the sake of "more difficulty" was unfortunately what led me to dropping the game. Completely excluding World 5, I got 313 out of the 385 cat pyramids so I think I did fairly well all things considered.
TL;DR for me the game starts off as an unbelievably charming and incredibly fun mini-golf game, but devolves into just a poorly controlled character traversing uninteresting and unfun gimmicky levels.
ALSO I forgot to mention, the game does not lock your cursor when aiming, so if you start aiming near the edge of your monitor your cursor will hit the side of your screen and you won't be able to aim properly. Very frustrating issue in a game with this control scheme.
