phenomenal inner dialogue, uses the main character perfectly in a lot of ways. the anxiety and anger and maladaption are on full display from the start, but they unfurl in such interesting ways. genuinely phenomenal aesthetic sensibilities, the edited photographs are modified to work perfectly, the two images of the door that are bright and dark near the end are a perfect microcosm of this. the bitterness on display and the power disparity and the general conflict in the relationship have so much tension to them, the work is incredibly engaging. the use of music is a highlight, hard cuts to silence are used to great effect to highlight sudden mood shifts. the variety in the dynamic is also something i truly appreciate, this much ebb and flow to the way the two main characters interact is something i rarely ever see. its good!!!
