You absolutely killed it. The story gutted me from start to finish and the artwork was sublime. I can't say enough good things about the imagery you used. I think either way things could play out hurt a lot but deservedly so. The way people 'become' monsters was a great conceit that occupies a good amount of space for me in terms of how I evaluate what I'm left with. I dunno; fantastic. Couldn't possibly feel better about being left feeling totally empty.
