I know I was never a part of this conversation, but I know how it feels. I´m part of the community, and I´ve had so many people try to use my sexuality (bi) as a joke right in front of me. I brush it off, but when my friends do it, I know they don't mean anything, considering they´re part of it too!
Yeah, I'm in the LGBTQ+ community and pretty much everybody I know knows and some of them use it as an insult but when my friends (especially my closest friends) use it, they're just messing around and they never mean it. And if somebody tries to insult me around them, they'll go to war to make sure I'm okay. (My friends are awesome)
