Successfully installed macOS standalone!
IJKL for a D-pad is definitely a choice)) Wouldn't hurt to duplicate it with arrows ;-)
Also tested it with PS5 controller - works great!

It’s ergonomic, lets you keep your fingers on the home row and reach all combos and buttons without moving your hands or putting your wrists in an awkward position ;—)
(of course everything can be remapped in the configuration though)
But yeah, always allowing the arrow keys is probably good to not trip people up.
