GEE I'M OBSESSED WITH THIS♡⁠(⁠>⁠ O⁠ ⁠<⁠)⁠♡ My eyes have been blessed, I can't wait for the next chapters.

I can't help but be fascinated with yanderes too, a few questions I always have in the back of my mind is, if they're aware of the harm they're causing, how do they justify it? How do they deal with the guilt and cognitive dissonance if they feel any at all? Where does the line between "loving the person" and "loving the idea of them" start and end, especially in the context of yandere? Are they aware they love the idea of the person? If they realise how would they react? Or cope? Cuz I don't think their reaction is... Healthy, at least most of the time. Another thing is how the stereotypical yanderes tend to differ from your average toxic or narcissistic partner. Even if the methods are similar for these different types of characters the difference in their reasoning, justification and cause seems to be like day and night.

Turquoise seems to be, quite the unique type of yandere. I personally don't see yanderes spun like this often. Even most soft yandere tropes aren't this adorable. He seems to be incredibly sweet and considerate.I can't imagine this darling doing anything. He'll stay soft yan. I mean unless... He decides to lock us up, stalk or go further. If he doesn't go that route then he'd be quite the vanilla compared to your typical yandere. Oh not to mention not all yandere are actually bad, there's many different sub- types of yanderes and some of them are actually harmless. The one defining characteristic for yandere seems to be their SEVERE obsession (an understatement). Whether their obsession makes them the crazy violent stereotypical yan or the devotion/sacrificial type, or soft yan depends on their personality and mindset I guess.

BTW The music is Such a vibe, OH AND THE ART??. IT'S MARVELOUS! EVERYTHING is. I especially love the way his expressions are drawn😍. The QUALITY of this vn🤌💋✨. One can see the effort and love put into this game. It's absolutely and utter

I wanna so crochet the alien cat plushie. Did Turquoise crochet or sow? I'm so happy I randomly stumbled upon this game, I'm gonna share with my freinds, I know they'll ADORE Turquoise. I apologise for the rant, this was way longer than I initially intented, there's so much I want to say and if I continue it'll be 9 times the length.

Yandere are mentally ill people. I really don't like the idea of labelling Yandere as"red flag/green flag" etc. as if they have to fall in one of those category, it's way more nuanced than that. There is no green flag yandere in my opinion, even if they "don't kill" or "don't hurt their loved one" they're always very toxic in a way. Turquoise is, he's just doing it in a more subtle way so you don't question it.

The portrayal of Yandere in contemporary works often follows the same scheme. They are frequently simply labeled "crazy," and all their actions are justified (or not) by their supposed madness, as if they always have been. I rarely see works that address the questions I raised in my "about the artist' paragraph. I would like to propose a new perspective on Yandere (it's very presumptuous of me, I will try my best, but that's just something I personally want to achieve), suggesting that they are people like you and me, who have experienced trauma, repressed or not, and who cling to whatever they can. Yandere, to me, are highly sensitive people, not just "crazy aaah i love killing" people. They don't know how to manage their obsessive emotions, and no one helped them when they needed it. Turquoise is (should be) a case in point.

I absolutely don't mind long comment, on the contrary, I love reading people's thoughts and analysis. It's always interesting. I, also, tend to write way too much.
