Heya, I just bought the game, as I really adore the premise. However, after reading I am left with some confusion around the intended mechanics.

Truths seem very central, as they determine the ending. But there is no explanation what a Truth is supposed to be or how to gain it. We have some ideas, but it feels very strange to guess something so central to the way the game is meant to be played?

I would be really grateful for an explanation so we can try the game :)

Of course! A Truth is just meant to be something fundamentally true about your character, something that-- if known, gives someone power over your character. It can be something like why you and your ex broke up, a small piece of childhood trauma, a fear or a hope or a dream. These are not decided beforehand, but are discovered through each scene as your characters talk. If someone feels that a Truth has been discovered, they posit it and if both players agree, the one who learned the Truth about the other gets a "point" so to speak.

But thank you for the feedback! I'll have to go back and make that more clear when I have the chance.
