Thank you for the detailed feedback!! I'm definitely not 100% on the bitcrushing; I thought they'd match with the dither style but I don't know if that worked, so I'm looking into reworking the sounds without the FX for a post jam update. Glad you liked the opening sounds!!
The death screen bug is known and will be fixed at some point (details don't appear if you die from overheating, only from taking damage).
