As a Graphic Designer trying to learn how to build games (trying to learn Ren'Py myself), this is so amazing to see. Normally I'd give an in-depth review of every aspect of your product, but I believe it goes without saying that you're doing a WONDERFUL job. It's hard to reconcile this came from a single (2??) Artist, but god damn is it quality content.
The only thing I can say can be improved are some of the animation times - specifically: the dash/roll mechanic and the time required to ring bells feels clunky, and often the player character appears for a split second during some transitions (I'm kinda hammered right now and can't give specifics, but it's clearly a bug/unoptimized).
Dude. As someone convinced that you're an Ex-Disney Artist gone rogue, I can't emphasize how amazing this product is. It's supreme. I've followed your work for a LONG time, and it never ceases to amaze me to see developers swap mediums for expression. Again, personally, I don't care for the Polyamarous narrative, but this is clearly worth the effort; The art style. The dialogue. The characters? Omg. It's not often we (the community) are afforded the opportunity to experience such a charming world. It's nothing short of Beautiful.
I really want to see where you go with the story, because your Art style is already powerful enough to garner attention, respect and appreciation. You're already pixel perfect in comparison to 99% of everyone who's ever picked up a stylus. We know you can design like a God. But the ability to fully flesh out this universe is what's going to carry this product to the highest echelons of expression.
There truly isn't anything, as a consumer, that I can say 'should' be changed. It's the perfect foundation for a great story. You have all of the ingredients to make a perfect product. I don't know how that will translate during a time where creativity in the Art community is (apparently) dying, but I so badly want to see this completed. It's too good. Please don't give up on this product. I've seen too many ambitious creators bail out preemptively, and they never grasp how important their efforts were.
