Super promising VN with great world building! Having the Datapad update over time was a lovely addition; I know this is only in the beta right now, but I'm still pretty astonished by how immersive this VN is so far. I'm looking forward to see how the menu screen UI might change... also to hear more entertaining dialogue/banter between the characters.
The romance between Kai and Eco is super sweet... I tend to enjoy these kinds of "Man vs Supernatural/Fate/Society" plots with romance on the side, but sometimes the characters frustrate me with how easily provoked they are by each other and their captors, haha! I think Kezza and Acadia are my favorite characters for being level-headed, for that reason. Seeing Eco channel his strife into lashing out at others sorta makes me feel disconnected/dissociated from him, but in spite of this, I love that it gives him a nuanced personality.
I saw others complain about slow-pacing and repetition, but I think the only times I truly wanted to skip forward were during Eco's dream/nightmare visions that are reasonably meant to freak you out anyways. That said, everything occurring in the span of a few days does feel a bit fast/unnatural, but Eco acknowledges how quickly everything's moving when contemplating about his relationship with Kai, so I didn't find it too problematic. Plus, I can easily gloss over the timeline when remembering this is a sci-fi furry visual novel about interplanetary warfare, lol.
In short, loved reading this! 5 stars :)
