I love it! The concept is really interesting and the references to other games help establish the vibe and type of game you are trying to make. Though the scope will definitely be a challenge, as you are the only person on your team, however, that also means you know exactly how much time and effort need to go into this and don't have to wait on others for certain parts. Of course taking scope and time into account, you may want to consider adding one or two small game mechanics that can enhance your game just to make it slightly more interactive.
