Subject: Suggestion and constructive feedback regarding character development in Tales of the Moon
Dear Cella34,
I am writing to share some constructive feedback and a suggestion regarding the narrative and character interactions in *Tales of the Moon*—a game that truly stands out for its visuals and puzzle design.
As a fan of the story, I feel there is a significant missed opportunity regarding the relationship between the protagonist (the purple elf) and the barmaid. Throughout the chapters, the plot leads us to care deeply about the barmaid's well-being, particularly during her disappearance and subsequent rescue in Chapter Five. However, there is a distinct emotional disconnect when, after overcoming so many dangers to save her, the game offers no intimate, affectionate, or romantic interaction between them.
It is frustrating that the game limits interactions almost entirely to dangerous encounters with common enemies, neglecting the development of genuine bonds between the village inhabitants. A more heartfelt scene of gratitude, a romantic connection, or an affectionate moment between the purple elf and the barmaid would have greatly enriched the experience, providing a true sense of reward for the player's effort in rescuing her.
I hope you will consider this perspective for future updates or upcoming projects. I firmly believe that allowing the village characters to connect on a more personal and affectionate level would add immense emotional value to the story.
Thank you in advance for your time and attention.
Best regards,
-
