For some reason when I try to open the game it says the application can't be opened. Any reason why this could be happening?

Mac always has issues :( There are some solutions from Mac users in the comments. I picked out the one that seems to work most often.

Try this:

That unfortunately still isn't working for me :( do you just type in that exact code when you open Terminal or do you have to put anything before it?
